Pros

The only pro to this job is the pay. But that isnt even all that tbh. They claim that you can get up to 55 hours a week but that is a lie. BEWARE if you do get over 55 hours they will find any reason for you to get written up. But getting paid 29 an hour to start was not bad.

Cons

Man where do I begin. Management is extremely selfish and they dont care. You literally had a conversation with them regarding some of the complications you are having in your personal life and they literally tell you that the company comes first. They force you to come to work regardless of if your not scheduled. On a frequent basis they threaten firing you if you dont do something as little as answering your telephone when they call. Management pretends to have your back regarding mistakes but in the long run they say that a write up is just out of their control. They claim that nothing is personal and that they dont have any favoritism but on the regular give perks to a driver that is a blood relative to the manager. Management fails to have a sense of humanity and will literally tell you even if your out on leave that you need to show up even after explaining life threatening emergencies to them. The representation for the company is terrible to say the least. If the job market was not where it currently is I would have been gone. And I know for a fact any other drivers would say the same.

Pros

Not many "pro's", the people I work with within branch level are nice.

Cons

Highest employee turnover than ANY company I've ever worked for. Poor/old equipment, cheap "fixes", minimal knowledge of policy and procedures. No direct support. Branches are controlled by "Big Corporate" in MA somewhere so trying to resolve issues is painful. West Direct Oil/Diesel Direct don't pay employees their worth, no employee eval's or raises or promotions. Not paid fairly or the same for positions across the corporation for the work performed.
