Pros

CTO and HR are amongst the kindest folk around.

Cons

Hired for one thing, asked to do another department’s work. Heavy micro-management. Most C-Level officers never move forward with plans for actual growth. They surround themselves with people who—in juvenile fashion—poke holes in arguments and get nothing done. Projects always come to a standstill. The whole operation is a power vacuum. Be prepared to do a week’s research on something, then have a quorum who will critique every fact discovered. And for what? Ask when they made their last sale. Net-new sale, that is. Let that be your guide to whether you accept a job offer. If you’re an SE, steer clear of this place. You won’t be an SE. With this org foolishly getting into the weeds on how to present every tiny detail, this company has truly jumped the shark.

Pros

Friendly co-workers that are pleasant to work with

Cons

Leadership doesn't let mid level and lower levels to actually let them do their work which has resulted in significant loses of internal talent as well as potential new customers

Pros

Remote work and some very good people are still there. Pay is decent and unlimited PTO is a plus until you get laid off.

Cons

New President and CTO are just horrible to work for. The company went from the collaborative amazing culture to one of micro management overnight. Initiative is now met with scolding and eventual termination. Employees that built the company and know it's customers needs are completely ignored and given no input on the future product. While friends (who all fit a very specific profile) are put in charge on day 1. CEO seems nice, tells you how valuable you are to the company, promises raises, and gives stock options to retain employees, then lays them off 4 months later, This happened to a group of older, tenured employees.
