Pros

1st shift is bosses and leads looking to keep their job. While they're not at the top of the hill, they're not at the bottom. Guess who is....Many 1st shift have been there forever and act like it. 2nd gets more work done and is less political and smoother.

Cons

You work at Doncasters.... Management is Investor's who know nothing about manufacturing. The managers barely know much about running a manufacturing business.

Pros

Genuinely helpful staff. Everyone there is approachable, knowledgeable, and take their jobs seriously. Having never done sandblasting, I was apprehensive but it became oddly satisfying to clean off all those machine parts, like the title says.

Cons

If you aren't in halfway decent shape, it can be challenging. The parts are heavy, visibility poor, and the equipment is....temperamental would be the kindest thing to say.

Pros

Good Insurance, pay is good, nice people

Cons

Disconnect in training, one person says one thing and another says something completely different. Management non communicative.
