Pros

exciting industry, great product portfolio, dedicated and close knit employees in the trenches that deliver results, pay is higher than average.

Cons

GE integration of Dresser is not going well. GE has world class integrity program, except when comes to dealing with human capital at Dresser.

Pros

Excellent brand recognition and high quality products recognized around the world. Willingness to participate in operational excellence and global growth initatives.

Cons

Virtually no room for advancement, most "promotions" are title changes or horizontal moves. Lack follow through and support from upper management required to achieve strategic iniatives. Extremely risk adverse company that created an industry follower not leader.
