Pros

I had the opportunity to collaborate with many great people and work on a variety of interesting projects.

Cons

There was an apparent lack of clear strategic direction from senior leadership. They seemed disengaged, providing little guidance until problems arose. Only then did they become involved. Growth opportunities were sparse, aside from vanity titles. Unfortunately, many talented people's skills went underutilised, as communication up the organisational chain either went ignored or faded.

Pros

Nice people, large open-space in a former repair shed, not many crunch times, 5-a-aside on Thursday, interesting clients

Cons

Low salary compared to industry standards, Directors micro-managing most projects, no much career opportunity, scarce team building events, company culture eroded over time

Pros

- Relaxed atmosphere. - Great co-workers. - Some perks; free coffee, fruit on Monday, Easter eggs, etc. - Work with some amazing brands.

Cons

- Little to no communication from management. - Don't foster learning or give training. - Sometimes expected to do overtime without compensation. - Can be stuck on a project for a long time (2+ years) - Little to no career progression. - Project managers seem to have little to no experience managing projects, clients or staff. - Some Project managers don't show solidarity with the team, when the team is doing overtime or in crunch mode. - No reviews. These were promised, but in the years I was there I had 2 or 3. - Constantly had money problems or cutting costs. People were often told the company couldn't afford raises or that promised team nights out and perks weren't happening. - Management was also the Sales team and weren't contactable, approachable or in the office. - Management/Sales often came into the office drunk.
