95% positive business outlook

Cons
Can't find any yet, suspect I will be looking for a while
Pros
I have been at Durlston Partners for more than two years and enjoyed every minute of it, the team culture is second to none. I've worked in start-ups, big tech firms, and consultancies and this is by far the best team culture I've come across where you're excited to go in every day and to work alongside teammates who have become friends. Having grown organically over the past 10 years where every team member gets a say on new hires, it's a big part of the collaborative, transparent, and humble culture that we have today. The client list has also grown organically through word of mouth and recommendations from candidates and clients who have enjoyed working with us. This puts us in a great position to choose clients we love working with which naturally means that anyone coming in can focus on making placements rather than spending cold calling for new business. Everyone who joins is given the tools to succeed but also the ownership and autonomy to plan and manage their day in a meritocratic environment. The above is most important to me but there are added benefits including: Fully paid team holidays (Barcelona, New York, Ibiza to name but a few) Best commission structure in London - the more revenue you bring in the more you take home Snacks / beer fridge / great open plan office / dart board / healthcare / gym membership / cycle to work schemes and many many more to list (check the website).
Cons
If you're new to recruitment, there is a learning curve and you have to have patience and resilience to see the rewards but if you're hardworking, consistent and find that you do actually love recruitment then that patience will pay off in the long term
Pros
At Durlston Partners hard work pays off. With an unrivaled commission structure, fantastic working culture and excellent clients – if you put in the hours you will see results. Whether you are new to recruitment or a seasoned professional, the training throughout is fantastic. As a close-knit team, we work together to deliver for one another and our clients. Finally, we work as a team, there is no red tape if you want to bring new ideas to the table (no matter your seniority or how long you have been at the company) your voice is heard.
Cons
Can’t fault it – you need to role up your sleeves and work hard to see result. But if you are willing to put in the hours and work smart, you will see rewards both personally and financially
Pros
I’ve been in recruitment for a few years and have always chosen companies who value their team and have a good culture. DP is no exception. In addition, there is: - An A* client list - All the tools / systems required to deliver - A beautiful office & great location for meeting clients/candidates - A host of great company benefits - A superb commission structure But this is no land of meadows and bunnies! If your work ethic, personal drive and commitment to delivering a high standard of work is not up to par then you need not apply as you will not succeed. But if they are, the potential to have a good career is open to you.
Cons
TBC - Nothing comes to mind.
Pros
Coming from France for a gap year, I planned to stay in London for only 9 months... but things didn't go as planned. Indeed, it is now 1 years that I am working for Durlston Partners and it is not ready to stop. Durlston Partners gave me a chance although I didn't have any experience and an average English. However, the friendly, collaborative and supportive environment helped me to grew up very quickly and learn more than I couldn't expect within few months. Although it's my first experience within the recruitment world, I can tell you that Durlston Partners doesn't operate like any other companies. First of all, we have a lot of freedom which allow us to find our own way of working and be responsible for managing our own time. We are encouraged to get out of the office to meet clients/candidates for a coffee/beer as much as possible which allows us to meet a lot of amazing people, but also enjoy the London's weather (...) Durlston Partners also gives us career opportunity and my example is a good one: I have been promoted to Senior Consultant within less than a year due to my achievements. The working environment is amazing, with a great bunch of people always happy and up for a good time. Finally, I would say the compensation at Durlston Partners is probably one of the best of the industry, with a very generous commission structure.
Cons
Fully stocked fridges... which is not good for my diet!
Pros
Great environment, close relationships with colleagues, fast-paced but relaxed, excellent commission structure and freedom to manage your own time
Cons
Long hours to start to build networks, but very minimal cons - especially to those driven and hardworking individuals that want to make lots of money
Pros
I joined the firm just under a year ago and can honestly say it’s the best environment I’ve ever worked in. Having heard horror stories about recruitment firms for years, Durlston really couldn’t be more different! It’s so collaborative and isn’t KPI led so the focus is fully on getting the best out of each and every person, nurturing their talent rather than stifling it. Couple this with the fact that the client list is A*, the commission structure is unbeatable and your time is spent building relationships with candidates as opposed to endless cold calling, I’d say there are few places (likely none) that could beat it! It’s also just such a fun place to be! From trips out, to weekends away and the constant stream of Deliveroo lunches/snacks, you are treated at every turn and endlessly rewarded for all you put in. I truly couldn’t recommend Durlston enough!
Cons
It’s so good, that when I talk to my mates about it they think I’m exaggerating…when in fact I’m often playing it down!
