Nice, enjoyable workplace, but too much "red tape" for a small business

Pros

At the time, people were very nice and all got along well. The work environment is nice and they are fairly flexible when you need to "flex" time for appointments, etc. While pay is not the best, benefits are fairly strong.

Cons

Leadership is not transparent enough for such a small company. You never know what decisions will be made or when. Sales team leads the decision making process and the IT team is too small to handle all of the different requests that the sales dept. has just because of a passing comment from a potential client. Pay seems to be lower than equivalent positions in the LA area.
