Pros

Fun co-workers. Free coffee. 10+ Overtime hours on average per week [if you're into that].

Cons

Where do I begin..... Honestly if I could leave negative stars I would. The job itself is not hard, you just have to be willing to learn everything yourself with absolutely zero mentoring or training. You are told to look at outdated Knowledge base articles and contact vendors for assistance. Management does not like things in writing, they will tell you to call them all the time because they receive too many emails and Team's messages and will not get to them all. Immediate red flag [ALWAYS GET IT IN WRITING]. Management will also not provide any opportunity to improve a "bad" performance. No verbal warning, no written warnings, no discussions, no opportunity to prove management wrong, just an immediate write up, which if you plan on staying there long enough to promote will definitely hurt your chances of doing so. Micro-managing employees is not something to worry about just be wary that your work will be micro-managed. Management will also provide unrealistic deadline expectations then tell you it needs to be done in one day, and if it doesn't you'll get blamed for not putting in the effort to meet their deadline. They will have you focus on a project and "drop everything else to focus on it" and then grill you on why you haven't worked on your other projects and why you haven't provided them an update. When excrement hits the rotating cooling device, management won't talk to you to figure out what went wrong, they'll leave you out of the conversation [even though you were directly involved] and go straight to HR to write you up with a final warning. Mangement will not provide training on anything having to do with your job role. Their version of training is telling you to "figure it out" or "have you searched for a KB on it?" You'll also get told one thing at first only for management to reneg on it later on. I was told this position would be hybrid after 90 days of "training" then remote for 2 days a week. This was pushed out to 120 days, and then six months and then finally being told, only if you meet certain metrics. STAY AWAY.

Pros

Overall I did learn something’s I’d never learn on my own. Friendly employees.

Cons

Micromanage, low pay, the managers I worked with didn’t set an example and were already a lot but would make a big deal if we were late.

Pros

- Fair benefit package, 401k, & pension available after 5 years of employment. - monthly incentives if you hit personal loan production & new money goals. - relaxed management; often placed a lot of trust in employees to handle their job responsibilities. - opportunity for career growth. - Saturdays close as early as 1 PM.

Cons

- work life balance is not the best. Long hours of operation specifically for the downtown branch. - unpredictable schedules. - vacation time earned on an accrual basis typically one full month will earn you 6.67 hours of vacation time. - low base pay for the amount of job responsibilities, pay does not keep up with market inflation.

Pros

Good coworkers, company based on treating members well.

Cons

Management sometimes not helpful, and rely on other employees for help. Pay is eh for the job, and a lot of the branches are short staffed. The job & company is actually very different than described in training & onboarding. Long days to make up for 1/2 days on Saturdays
