Pros

Nothing worth the stress, no advantages

Cons

ometimes having principles makes people uncomfortable in certain environments. I stayed respectful, professional, loyal to my values, my marriage, and my religion — and apparently that was “different” in a workplace where fitting in mattered more than integrity. I will never apologize for having boundaries, self-respect, and standards. Some workplaces are healthy, others are driven by jealousy, gossip, and toxicity. Unfortunately, I experienced the second. Still proud of myself for leaving with my dignity untouched. Toxic environment Jealous coworkers Lack of professionalism Pressure to fit in socially in ways that conflicted with your values Poor management and the salary wasn’t even worth the stress.
