The family culture, if you are dedicated the company will dedicate to you. Long term growth and perspective. Yes there are issues as we grow, but the team has the right mindset to succeed.
Cons
58 hours a week. There is some nepotism, as is common in construction.
The pay is competitive, the work is mostly inside a building, the company has a good safety culture and workers seem to get along pretty well.
Cons
Sometimes the safety aspect gets a little extreme; usually when responding to a recent incident. It feels like the safety people are pretty much allowed to direct workers and undermine the workers supervisors by directing employees to correct an issue that is unrelated to that employees job. If you’re in the wrong place at the wrong time; safety will have you cleaning up an area that you aren’t even working in.
