Can't wait to get out of this nightmare...

Pros

- Some really awesome people work here. - Good benefits package. - Watching the people who are left pander to upper management during quarantine provides comic relief.

Cons

- Round after round of layoffs and then lying about them. A lot of the best people have already left or are heading for the exits. - Worst "executive" team you will ever see. A lot of them don't have a single qualification for the roles they are in. For example, the COO used to be the head of sales and ran the sales team into the ground and then dubiously got promoted and is now running the entire company into the ground. There is nothing "executive" about that team. - Absentee leadership. CEO is never around and it's clear he's checked out and doesn't care. An "executive" has even told employees that the CEO just doesn't have the guts to fire them and they're in charge for good. - Nepotism: Unqualified people in Senior management roles get hired or promoted based off of their relationship with other "executives". - No direction: company has shifted drastically from any changes or strategy they roll out in a matter of weeks so the company isn't going anywhere. - Work culture has gotten progressively more toxic due to the actions of the "executive" team.

Pros

Strong immediate team and high level of Engineering coworkers. That's about it

Cons

Very junior Executive leadership with no real experience. There were recent rounds of massive layoffs and the work environment has gotten terrible over the past year. Executives consistently lie to employees and generally don't seem to have a real plan on how to lead the company. Engineering projects constantly change around based on the whims of the leadership team leading to a large amount of partially completed projects and technical debt. CEO is very rarely in the office and when he is, the Executive team is constantly following him around so employees don't tell him how bad things are. Ask yourself if this is the type of company you want to work for.

A Chaotic Mess

Pros

many genuine people, good location

Cons

An unpredictable mess. Everyone is constantly worried they will be grouped into the next lay-off. All hands this week? Expect a layoff before hand. Management has no idea what they are doing. They fire anyone that is not on the same page as them. They throw out new titles to people like candy so that they will stay. HR is heartless and untrustworthy. They say one thing then do the other. Nobody knows where EasyPost is headed. No real values, no real culture...I don't see how anyone is truly motivated to work here.
