Pros

Projects and helpful co-workers. One of two pros is the type of work we do. If we're self motivated, great platform to learn a lot from. There are lots of experienced and seasoned workers who don't hesitate to help.

Cons

Compensation - zero even if put hours out of standard time mentioned while joining work life balance - flush out the thought Covid Compensation - null, where other companies were providing furniture/food/partial electricity/internet allowances, ours asked us to install inverters "so that work goes on smoothly" without any regard to peoples' living conditions Learnings - absolutely at own expense, expect no help from the company Weekends - work continuously without getting weekends off for weeks, compensatory off is provided but again, should have time to claim it. Benefits - None. Bonus - none Hike - negligible. dissatisfactory. Rewards/Appreciation/Team outing/Bonus/Food reimbursement - zero. get ready to work at 7days a week at ends with more than 12 hours sometime, mentally and physically exhausted without any form of appreciation or compensation. There is no concept of logging out, people will call/message any time of the day/night and expected to respond. This culture is normalised.

Pros

Gives some time to do R&D on latest techs. Salary only for experienced candidates.

Cons

Bootlicking and buttering is given priority over work. No ethics ,will go to any extent to stalk and adhere into personal life of the employees. Tall claims but no practical implementation in real sense. Once you resign they will make you run from pillar to piller settle your final dues as well to get the exp letter. Technologically weak hierarchy, none of the head honchos are masters or phd in tech. The head of data science(manager) is an item to look out for.His only work is to order food and give dumb statements. Experienced candidates won't learn anything from the hierarchies . Finally their favourite past time is to hire and fire people. Many highly experienced and hard working employees were fired due to the incompetency of the hierarchy management. (NOTE: I wasn't fired) Dont go for fake reviews by their hr recruiters. Beaware of the head of operations, don't trust on any of his words, he is the most crooked person one can ever meet.

Unprofessional Management

Pros

A lot of independence given to developers, so if motivated enough, one can learn a lot on the job, but should be careful to ensure bad practices don't creep in

Cons

1. Politics in the upper management, which caused a lot of really good talent - managers and engineers - to leave 2. Absolutely no work-life balance. Asked to work a lot of weekends and did not have time to take the comp-offs. Most of these accumulated leaves expired 3. No senior engineer/lead to guide or mentor you. So code quality suffers and also affects personal learning. 4. Working on the same product for a long time. Mostly fixing bugs. No proper product plan 5. Unprofessional managers - no idea how to handle people or processes causing a lot of wasted effort
