Pros
I've been working at recruiting agencies for 15 years, and the biggest indicator of a great work experience is working with amazing people.
My current team is hands-down the best team I've ever worked on. Why?
-The team is extremely experienced (one colleague was VP Recruiting at Instacart, another just left a COO job from a fast-growing SaaS company to work with us), but everyone rolls up their sleeves and works hard to accomplish goals together - TEAMWORK
-We work remotely and check-in daily or weekly to collaborate. We don't need to do daily activity reports, we just stay focused on how we can support each other - AUTONOMY
-I get to meet some of the most interesting founders, CEOs, entrepreneurs, VCs and people everyday of my job - NETWORK
For me, ^^ is what matters and why I keep showing up everyday excited to build.
Cons
We went through a merger of 4 companies last year, that takes time for us as a single company to find our unified voice/ message/ way of working. We are over most of the humps, but it has been a process.
