Pros
Some of the work is interesting. Perception of working at Elkstone by other employers is way better than the reality.
Cons
The owners ('founders') promised the world to staff but were playing loose and fast with people's careers. When COVID hit, half the firm were let go almost immediately with nothing more than statutory redundancy - 20 people in all. A lot of good talent turfed out. They slashed salaries for remaining staff. Was struggling as a business even before this. They 'lost' four Financial Controllers since May 18. It isn't the stable environment that one would expect. Management do a great PR job to the outside world but is smoke and mirrors with little substance. Had to be dragged to the courts to pay up for a deal they committed to (Google it)
