Pros
Working at 10 Acre Ranch has been one of the most fulfilling chapters of my career. The organization is deeply mission-driven, and every team member—clinical, medical, and support staff—is committed to providing compassionate, high-quality care to individuals in recovery. As Program Director, I’ve had the privilege of helping shape a culture rooted in accountability, empathy, and growth—not just for our clients, but for our team as well.
Leadership is approachable and receptive to innovation. There’s a strong emphasis on ethical standards, compliance, and continuous improvement, which provides a sense of structure and integrity in the work we do. I’ve also appreciated the investment in professional development, trauma-informed training, and opportunities to expand culturally competent care models, especially for underserved communities.
Our facility is pet-friendly and community-oriented, and we take pride in creating an environment that feels like home for both staff and clients. It’s a fast-paced environment, but you’re surrounded by passionate people who believe in what they do.
Cons
As with any behavioral health setting, the work can be emotionally taxing. However, strong peer support and regular staff check-ins help mitigate burnout. I’d also love to see continued expansion in benefits offerings and wellness resources for staff.
