Not a healthy place to work - Anonymous Employee- Former Employee 1st Formations Employee Review

Pros

Nothing in here is really worth mentioning.

Cons

This place is a mess. The customer base is a nightmare, senior management is unprofessional and ignores staff, and there’s basically no HR support. Pay is lower than what others in similar roles make, and the office is either boiling in the summer or freezing in the winter. The workload is mentally draining, you’re glued to your desk all day, and layoffs happen for no clear reason. Micromanagement is constant, the CEO is nowhere to be found, and leadership seems to care more about customers than the people actually doing the work. With the money this company brings in, they could easily pay staff better and invest in tools that would make the job manageable, but nothing ever changes.

Thanks for the feedback, as you know we do read these reviews and action the challenges raised, even when it's hard to hear. Some of what you've raised is fair. Pay, prioritisation and management of workload and access to HR support and development are things we've been putting real effort into over the past year, and that work is ongoing. If you want to have a more direct conversation, the People & Culture team is the right place to start; and it would be confidential. We wish you well.

Pros

Fantastic team, flexible, and open to innovation.

Cons

Benefits could improve but otherwise none. Company is going through scale-up changes which is a positive evolution.
