Pros

I worked as a Samsung Field Sales Manager (FSM) for 2020 Companies. The benefits came from the experience I received being an FSM in training, demoing and driving sales. The team I worked for was exceptional, and we learned from each other in styles and techniques.

Cons

The upper management was totally unprepared for what Samsung tasked them to do, and we in turn were unprepared. We were out in the field and had to improvise immensely, and faced unwarranted disciplinary action when we weren't trained properly. My personal district manager was unprofessional, and had somewhat of an antagonistic relationship with me. We were advised one thing on our monetary compensation, and got another. It was overall unfair to us in the field. The final nail in the coffin was when a lot of us were unceremoniously laid off, and either offered part time positions, or an adjustment pay that gave us a $500.00 lump sum in return for not going to work for a competitor for 18 months instead of a bonus that worked hard to get. This was very insulting to all of us that toiled in the field for a year.

Pros

The company culture is fantastic. They invest in your growth and ensure you have the tools needed to be successful for our clients. The main goal for everyone is to solve for yes whether it's for our clients or for our teams. Support teams truly support field teams and executives are invested in what we do but give us autonomy to execute in our own way.

Cons

Low pay for entry level staff creates a revolving door; while this is due to contractual obligations defined by clients we need to find a way to solve the issue to retain top tier talent and recruit quality candidates.

Pros

I’ve been supporting the NECOA campaign since it launched in 2024, and it has honestly been a great experience. One of the things that stands out most is the culture. The NECOA team is incredibly welcoming, supportive, and genuinely focused on providing an excellent customer experience. The compensation is very competitive and often exceeds what candidates expect when they first learn about the opportunity. I've also seen employees who joined early in the campaign experience rapid career growth and advancement opportunities, which speaks volumes about the company's commitment to developing talent from within. Another benefit is the schedule. Most positions operate within retail hours, which can provide employees with more flexibility and creativity when it comes to balancing work and personal commitments.

Cons

A retail schedule may not work for some but there are other opportunities offered by 2020 Companies that may fit the bill.
