Pros
The Manila office provides a pleasant work environment. The admission team members (the kuyas) are kind and approachable.
Cons
There seems to be a tendency among some Manila office employees, particularly leaders, to prioritize favor with KL and US leaders. Despite several years of service, there have been no salary increases for some employees. The system appears to favor personal connections rather than merit. While the company promotes a “great culture” and “family-like environment,” the actual experience of many employees doesn’t reflect that. Management decisions often seem to prioritize company interests over employee welfare. Operations teams are consistently overworked and frequently affected by ongoing restructuring. They let go of employees who’ve been with the company for many years but keep their favorites. If you’re a favorite, they’ll always find a place for you in the company. The management is starting to feel like a BPO setup, and sadly, the culture is becoming the same way too.
