We always find it tough when we hire people with no experience and train them, treat them well, and pay them fairly, to only have them leave the Company and post negative reviews " anonymously" on the internet. Unfortunately, most happy employees do not feel the need to post about how much they love their jobs as much as those who are disgruntled and attention-seeking.
To address your negative comments, we understand the PMO is tough work and many times there are long hours involved. It is not for everyone and this is why many PMs choose to work as contractors- to be able to make their own hours and have some versatility in their role. The PM position also requires attention to detail and the ability to get along with, and communicate with people at all levels in the organization. We are sorry this was a struggle for you.
To address your review heading: "Good Luck Getting a Raise" - We do not give people pay increases simply because they show up. The expectation of a raise simply because you come to work for a certain period of time, is an attitude of entitlement and if anything is extinct - it's that. In your instance, however, you were given several pay increases and were more than adequately compensated for your skill level and quality of work. One year of experience and training - which we provided to you, does not make you an expert in the field or qualified to give advice on our business model.
3-D is a family company, so yes, we do have people that are related that work here. We also have several employees who love the company so much that they have brought their own family members to work here as well when we have had positions that match their skill set. We welcome this and see it as a sign that we must be doing something right, if people want to bring the people they care most about to come work here alongside them.
We are very aware how hard our employees and contractors work. We know that our company is nothing without the teams of exceptional people we have working out in the field. We are constantly looking for ways to make our field staff feel appreciated. We do our best to change with the times to be able to continue to offer our employees benefits that are unheard of in this industry, especially among companies of our size. We currently offer competitive salaries, profit sharing, annual bonus potential, paid holidays, PTO, health and dental, which we pay a higher than average percentage of, as well as paid gym memberships and other perks.
As far as holding leadership to the same standards of hard work - you have no idea how hard the leadership team works here and the amount of time, heart and soul that gets poured into this Company. Real leaders don't need to announce how hard they are working to everyone. They just do it.
Good luck to you in your new career - we hope it is a better fit for you and hope you find happiness.
