Pros

Free water PTO Candy dish No dress code (unless it's "dress to impress" day) Cupcakes from Walmart once a month You don't have to wear a hair net

Cons

As soon as the doors close, you have entered Franco-era Spain. Tons of work accompanied by do-more, do-better demands from a supervisor who is heavy on criticism and lacks any empathy or consideration for others. There is never any sense of accomplishment or satisfaction, only, "Can't you do more?" I was not inspired to do wonderful things; instead, supervisor ensures that you know you are very low to the ground and you aren't doing enough. People are fired all the time. You will come to work and have an email, "So and so is no longer with TLB." So you are constantly wondering if you are next. If you last longer than a year, you will get an annual review and a raise--of no more than $0.75. All of the people who make any money are related. These people don't know your name or what you do there, but they sure wish you'd do more of it for the same amount of money! The company is also into reputation management so you'll have to sacrifice your morals as well. I asked for a raise and was told to get a roommate or a second job. All in all, if you grew up in an abusive household, you are probably equipped with the unhealthy coping behaviors necessary to work for this company.

Pros

Positive work environment . Growth opportunity (I have had 3 promotions in as many years through multiple departments) Free food (bagel breakfasts, coffee, water, candy dish. Relaxed dress code I have been able to work a schedule that accommodates my family. Very supportive - I suffered a major loss while working here and the support (meals, monetary donations, calls, cards) blew me away. Fair compensation (aggressive commission structure in Sales) STICKERS!!!!

Cons

The bathroom on the lower floor is sometimes closed and we have to walk up stairs

Thank you for sharing your employment experiences of the past three years. I’m pleased to hear that the culture, work environment, and support are appreciated and that you have capitalized on the growth opportunities that are available. We will certainly continue to foster positive relations and interdepartmental communications.

Pros

Every employee that is an asset and brings added value to the company is treated incredibly well and still works for the company. The work is very exciting, the day flies by, innovative, and always learning something new. The company cares about their clients so much that it feels good to be a part of this company when there are so many other marketing companies that are "turn and burn". The advancement opportunity is endless. One of the Directors started as an employee 3 years ago and was promoted 3 times and became a Director within 2.5 years of employment. He will probably become an Executive in the future. I personally have been promoted twice and if I wanted to work in a different department or have a different job or be promoted again I could because the company cares that much. But I love my job and am very satisfied. I haven't known of someone that was fired in the last 5 years that wasn't thoroughly warned and knew it was coming. Employees can take an hour for lunch, but the company offers 30 min option so the employees can leave early or come in later. The company offers 2+ weeks PTO depending on your level, lots of paid holiday, and all the other benefits. Contact any of the employees on LinkedIn and ask them what they think, since they still work their for a reason!

Cons

The company has hired lower level employees in the past so there has been some issues with immaturity, but in the last year or two they have invested a lot in recruiting and getting better more professional people so culture is improving.
