Pros
In a word. Park City. I guess that's two. But yeah, if you've never been to PC, it's amazing. Skiing in the winter, biking/hiking/camping/climbing in the summer. 3DSIM made a great choice in establishing their operations here.
But beyond the location, the company is just a compelling place to work. Get to be on the cutting edge of the 3d printing software world, part of a startup, but still have a very nice office with standard amenities and a better than average compensation package.
I'd say the best thing about 3DSIM is their focus on employees. They definitely believe in treating people right. From paying 100% of all benefits (no employee contribution required!) to buying Bose noise canceling headsets for everyone.
Management team is great. You could not ask for a nicer group of people to work with. They are honest and open, genuine and generous.
Cons
There are some unknowns at this point as the software is pre-beta. That said the future looks bright.
