Cons
This was a lovely company to work for, friendly management until I became pregnant. I had lots of difficulties in my pregnancy and was severely ill with hyperemesis gravidrum (HG). I was hospitalized quite a lot due to it. because of that, I felt as if I was a nuisance to the company.
Communication was poor and often no replies, and messages were deleted on WhatsApp.
I did not return to 4 Paws as they were not flexible when I was pregnant and most likely wouldn't be once I had my daughter.
I was asked to make app out side of work hours, again I understand this but the NHS doesn't work like that and you can only ask but rarely can get it, and was made to feel awkward.
The way I was treated when pregnant gave me extreme anxiety.
With HG you cant eat, drink, or keep a drop of water down without throwing up to the point where your stomach acid was all that was left! 24/7 sickness. So to 'Just pull over and be sick' was not an option for me.
When talking to ACAS they helped guide me on my predicament as I thought I was being treated unfairly. When going to management/owner I was just put down and mostly ignored.
To rehash, lovely until I stated to have problems with my 1st pregnancy. Causing extra stress and to be honest bullying.
