Pros
As a 16 year old working casually there for my second job, the work itself wasn't too bad. Especially because I knew my tasks and could keep to myself most of the time and did my job well.
Cons
There were many issues I had working for this company. A key issue was that the manager at the time was nice to your face yet when the demand picked up he would get quite toxic, even scolding employees in front of customers and diminishing them. Most co-workers were around 17-21, nice and cordial yet there was definitely a fair amount of shifting of blame unfairly as I feel employees didn't want to take responsibility and face the consequences. I definitely didn't feel very valued as an employee when I was there, more like a pawn that could just be replaced if I wasn't to standard. By far the worst part of my employment with this company stemmed not from the main working experience but the experience with the payroll staff for the company. Coming out of covid the company had a very enticing incentive to most employees which was if you stay with the company for a year then you receive $2000. Yet when it came to paying that incentive I had only received $500 with illegitimate excuses that I didn't work enough. They refused to pay many other co-workers and threated repercussions from discussing their pay with each other. Overall pretty toxic and evil practices.
