Pros
My immediate manager works beside me and not behind me to help get things done. She does not micromanage but ensures everything is done to specifications. Our office has a wonderful culture now that did not exist before. And although I have not always been happy with some of her decisions, I know now that she was really looking out for my best interest and definitely the company's.
Cons
Our corporate office has a tendency to attempt to oversee what we are doing at a local level without questions. They make accusatory statements and brings the office atmosphere down. Many have quit due to feeling as though as some corporate staff are racist and sexist.
