Pros
Highly respected brand, enjoys the trust of the nonprofit community. The ED is brilliant and a true visionary - but spends way too little time with staff. Plenty of opportunities to learn.
Cons
They do not pay well, they demand a very hard work, it can be very stressful and there is very little to no support for the consultant in the field. You're on your own, your success is the organization's success, but your failure is yours.
