I walked 22,000 steps in a warehouse that was heated to 38 degrees. It was 20 degrees and snowing outside.
Had to stand the entire day on concrete except when I was at lunch in my car. I was told "we sell more when we stand the whole day."
My manager didn't check on me the entire day because he "delegated" my training.
Rotating schedule and 10-hour days.
My account wasn't set up in the system, so I couldn't do any cashier training.
I had to, without PPE, empty trash cans that had other employees' vomit and chew in them. That was the final straw.
For $16/hr, this job sucked. Worst place I've ever worked. I literally lasted one day. I knew before lunch that I wouldn't like this job, and actually spent my lunch break on the phone interviewing with another company because it was just THAT miserable.
