Pros

Very nice co workers willing to help Great office, very clean , break area is large and inviting. Supervisors were great and very helpful Management and HR helpful and works with you for time off. Pay and Benefits are good. IT dept is great when having computer issues.

Cons

WFH was not as promised originally. Trainer was great however curriculum to learn job is very disorganized and not long enough to properly learn all you need to do your best. Definitely some rude individuals in certain departments. Communication between CSR, Dispatch and Techs is poor. Work trucks are not properly maintained or taken care of. Questions to help you do your job go unanswered for longer than you can keep a customer on the phone.

Pros

Co workers are great. Upper management is mostly good. Base pay is decent. Being able to drive company vehicle home is great. Flexibility when life happens is amazing. IT is great. Benefits are pretty good now. (They were terrible for a long time)

Cons

A.B. May used to be a company for the customers and the employees when it was family owned. It was bought out by Frontier, who changed a bunch of stuff, including our service system, then sold the company to Apex before training everyone properly. When Apex took over, they laid around 25 people off within the first few months. They have instilled a corporate mindset in everyone that works in the office. Which means customers are now dollar signs and the techs doing the work are now just tools. They've hiked the prices up so high that we've gone entire weeks with no work. We used to be able to at least come in a get some hours working in the shop when we were slow. That is no longer an option. So when we have no work, we either have to take PTO or just not get paid. Keep in mind, in my department, we do not have the ability to find work ourselves. We are completely dependent on the company providing work. We also have not received raises in over a year but the office staff better get they're parties and catered food days. Being able to drive our vehicles home is the only reason a lot of techs still work here.
