Depending on the language you are teaching you may not have classes very regularly - sometimes you're teaching 3-4 different classes a week and sometimes just one depending on enrolments. Pay rises are not offered very frequently

Friendly working environment and staff. Eager students. Great Location.

As with other language schools in NYC, the pay is as low as possible ($25 per hour, no matter class size). I basically teach here to keep sharp as a teacher and not for a paycheck. Classes start as an 8-week long engagement and can abruptly end if students don't sign on again. I have only taught 1-2 classes at a time, so the work availability isn't very dependable.
