High turn over - Welder ABS Machining Employee Review

None, really. If you like to work its not a terrible place to be.

As a CNC Lathe Machinist, the pay was fairly reasonable. Depending on your work experience, making $35/hr at this company was easy to get. Since they do lots of large custom jobs, it's hard to feel bored compared to running production work.

Unfortunately, the work environment at ABS Machining wasn't the best. It felt toxic most of the time. Senior management was poorly run with very little respect for the little guys. The lead hand and one of the supervisors at the Mississauga location needed serious training on dealing with fellow employees respectfully and professionally. Yelling and intimidation tactics at subordinates were how things got done here. *Best advice: be respectful, know who you are, and what you're capable of doing. Don't tolerate any foolishness and you'll be just fine.
