Pros
Does good work in the community Isn't overly woke
Cons
-Not organized, administratively speaking. Super vague instructions/guidance, no standardized procedures, no follow up, rules aren't clear are until you break them and even then you're not sure exactly what rule was broken. -Uses very old school ways of collecting and distributing information and communicating with staff and volunteers. -New initiatives/software not followed up on and then just go away like it never happened. Probably because they're not organized enough to actually implement new programs. -Leadership uses tip-toe politically neutral language that doesn't answer the question. -Very mistrustful & suspicious of staff and volunteers. It's demoralizing. -Don't take feedback seriously and nothing ever changes. -Treat their Volunteers badly. Good hearted volunteers are the reason the overhead is so low for a non-profit -because they use volunteers in positions that other orgs would pay people for - and then they ignore them, disrespect them, make them pay for their own supplies, and don't do anything for volunteer appreciation.
