Pros
So much to say here-you will never be pigeon-holed into one role unless that is your desire. There is no other company I have ever worked for where I received the diversity of experience, ability to switch to other roles, and little micromanagement. In my role(s) at Acro, I went to several conferences, did booth exhibitions, answered 1-800 line, responded to emails, dealt with various customer service issues, issues quotes, learned valuable skills like Salesforce, presented customer facing meetings, negotiating, more lab operations then I wish to describe as that wasn't my forte!...just to name a teeny, tiny bit of what I was able to do. Any person that is a self-starter-and has an initiative and attitude to 'get it done' will do extremely well here and the company encourages that. Good pay and benefits, no complaints on that end. Company is fast-paced, fast growing, and genuinely cares about employees. There are a lot of perks, gift cards throughout the year, wellness benefits, health benefits and 401 k options. The vision of this company is strong, the growth is immense and they have top-of the line employees, who get BETTER every year. There is little to no drama among employees and a common shared vision of the goals. There are some issues of course but those are below. I don't believe I will ever have a better CEO as a human being and that is a company attribute to me that really matters. I worked for this company on and off for over 4 years-so some of the reviews to me are just not accurate. The CEO is a person without a doubt-that wants to do their best but as many rapid growth companies face-likely struggle when your company is growing at record rates. I literally cannot say a bad thing about the CEO-he is extremely intelligent, strategic, and took the time at 7am his time to listen to my concerns 1:1 'back in the day' as someone in an entry level position. Every time he came-he always took us out to lunch and made sure to talk to every employee-again it matters! So much! Although I certainly hold my own reasons for leaving, I saw the reviews and honestly felt the need to give my honest review as someone who worked here for several years.
Cons
For certain divisions or locations that lack experience or enough employees the expectation to match overseas divisions that have significantly more resource can be a heavy burden. Same in regards to goal setting-the expectations need to better align with culture, reality and resource. Training needs improvement to better meet with the company needs.
