Pros
- Lots of advantages, insurances (health insurance, dental insurrance, extra benefits like mealvouchers, reductions at pharmacies.
-You can see your psychologist a few times a year for free
-There is a free social service for employees who struggle (mentally, financially,...)
-you are allowed to leave your desk at 4 pm -If you don't want to work 38h a week you can easily work less. Lots of employees leave their desk at 12 pm for lunch only to come back around 2PM, no problem.
Cons
- Not a very stimulating place to work. The people who work their have been there for years and feel stuck in their routine.
- Limited responsabilities: if you want to take extra responsibilities or tasks to grow as an employee your manager will rather discourage you to do so. They are happy with employees who have limited aspirations as long as they don't run away or show ambition.
- Difficult to rise within the company or take on another job. There are examples of people moving up into the company but it's rather exceptional.
