Pros
Research that focuses primarily on HIV, some cool seminars/talks, chill and laid back environment. There are great vacation benefits like getting the Friday before holidays like
Labor Day or Memorial Day off.
Cons
Worked at ADARC for a few years and noticed quite a bit of competition amongst individuals in labs, arrogance and rudeness of some PI's, outdated equipment, mediocre pay/benefits, no room for growth. Having moved on to a larger company, I've realized that ADARC takes little pride in it's employees and offers the bare minimum when it comes to pay/benefits/perks. Some employees are also very unprofessional in how they interact with their PI and coworkers.
