Pros
My teammates who I had the pleasure of working with were amazing. They are driven and passionate and empathetic and pushed me to be better as a professional.
Cons
I started off at ADDA with high hopes that this small company wasn’t going to be like the small company I worked for prior but sadly it was no better. Over the last 5 months, they have fired or let go over 5 people and now they are down to just over 15 people in size. If you don’t mesh with a client or a client disrespects you, don’t expect them to have your back or put you on a different client. You are on the chopping block. There is no onboarding plan for the consulting team when you get hired and don’t even think about having professional development. Because 1) they don’t want you to bill internally and 2) if there is training, they just have you jump on a webinar where you don’t take away much. As for bonuses, they aren’t a thing. We put in 60 hour weeks sometimes and instead of getting a raise or a little something extra, you get a $50 gift card at that end of the year to say thank you for all those long nights. Speaking of pay, even though by law you are allowed to talk about your compensation if you choose to do so, ADDA says they do not allow it. And if they hear you spoke of it, not only you do get called unprofessional but you get penalized for it as well. Now on to their LinkedIn; they post all these great insightful articles and things that companies should be doing, but they don’t practice any of the things they preach. The partners said part of the reason they started this company was because of the bad culture from their previous employment, but their culture is no better.
