Nothing to say here. This company is a joke

The lack of communication I received from AFS in my 2 months working here was unprofessional and a complete disgrace. Significant amounts of money were taken from my wage each week without any justification (amounting to well over £1000 in total) and my repeated attempts to gain clarity on the matter were completely ignored. Either my supervisor who I consistently asked for help on the matter did nothing, or those he contacted ignored him. Hard to tell. As this is a self-employed role, we were informed that to secure work after Christmas peak we must do everything asked of us during this time. Such as working weekends as well as 5/6 days of the week. I complied with this, taking one weekend off in 8 and not missing a shift in this time. However, as soon as peaked finished I found myself being told last minute not to come to work, and often working only 3 days. As I was also having money being taken from my wages, this left me without the necessary money to live on. The final payslip I received was less than £5… This company clearly sees the people working for them as replaceable and insignificant.
