Pros
*Flexibility - gives an opportunity to work in a variety of companies and roles. I would recommend for young people, which want to gain experience in different companies, live in different places and travel. It is really good at flexibility. *Abilities to change the location, place of leaving, even the country. *The payment is as agreed - fare and no delays. *The salary may look lower than average, however, they provide additional money for monthly expenses, which makes your NET salary higher. *Good private health insurance (not cheap). Including optical. There is also travel insurance, but for me personally wasn't very beneficial. *Good communication with HR and managers.
Cons
*Insecurity of working in one place for a longer period. You don't know how long you are going to work for a particular company, and Alten does not give you a clear awareness about that. *Poor development as a senior or specialist, as this required longer working in one company. I wouldn't recommend for people which want to develop themselves in one place and one company. *The bonus scheme is weak and it is based on finding more employees for Alten. There are bonuses at the end of the year, but they are not very high. *Overtime paid with the same rate as normal hours. Taking into account that the monthly paid expenses are not included in your salary, overtime actually gives you less money than the normal hours. *A relatively lower payment, compared to working directly for the company, not as a contractor. It very much depends on how you sell yourself to Alten. My salary was reasonably good.
