Pros

Benefits are good considering the size of the company and competitive in pharmacy and biotech for the area. Executive Director level: ~30% bonus ~$60,000 + stock annually ~401k match: 4% Competitive medical and dental benefits with Blue Cross Christmas to New Year’s Day shutdown

Cons

Low stock price, which could be due to lack of investor confidence in the company considering 4-5 commercial stage products. Job descriptions can be misleading, Senior levels in some functions are too hands on and don’t delegate or empower employees, which leads to low morale especially for seasoned employees. Transitional stage from a Commercial organization previously to expanding into late stage development. Lack of transparency, embracing process, and sharing information in some functions, which leads to lack of efficiency and dysfunction. Too many cliques of friendship circles within some functions, which lead to exclusion and fear of providing feedback on some unprofessional behavior. Bias towards MDs and PhDs in the Development organization, which leads to exclusion and favoritism and impacts employee morale if outside that circle. Below VP level Vacation time is 3 weeks; above VP 4 weeks; can rollover 2 weeks into next year if unused 3 personal days to use or lose within a year 5 sick days per year; can accumulate up to 30 days
