      Pros

      Things were doing great in Xilinx and they still are in AMD. The company transition (I should say merge actually) went smoothless and AMD is a great place to work. Good people, good work/life balance, still great benefit, focus on results.

      Cons

      - some Share benefits quality slightly degraded from Xilinx ones - Working remotely is not considered the de-facto standard

      Cons

      Processes and checks/balances not always followed (no strong rigid process flow which can be good/bad) Company still too consumer product focused (versus corporate) in many divisions
