Pros

Great for personal growth, decent pay, excellent community involvement. I personally can say that I've made lifelong relationships within my roll at A.M.R. I've been blessed with an opportunity to learn what humility really means and I've seen both the best and worst in humanity; for that, I too am grateful. The aforementioned adds to my personal lift perspective

Cons

Long hours, mentally/physically exhausting, difficult on lower back not to mention the general attitude the company displays with regard to profit - this is the companies sole purpose. Of course I understand that a business has to make an income but when you personally see firsthand what this actually means in regards to healthcare, for-profit thinking creates a riff between the providers and the company. I have a big problem when a company is making record profits and we as employes do not have access to new, working equipment because it's not "in the budget."

Pros

Career growth opportunities, supportive coworkers, opportunities to learn and develop, ability to advance if you stay engaged and work hard

Cons

Healthcare/EMS can be demanding, long hours at times, stressful days, and workload can be heavy depending on staffing and operations. These things aren’t specific to AMR, that’s our industry in general.

Pros

As we continue to strengthen our culture, our Core Behaviors remain the foundation for how we lead, engage, and deliver results across our teams. These behaviors are not just guiding principles—they define the expectations for how we interact with each other, our patients, and our communities every day. At their core, these behaviors drive consistency and alignment across the organization. By prioritizing care, encouraging open communication, seeking to understand, collaborating on solutions, and holding ourselves accountable, we create an environment grounded in trust, respect, and shared responsibility. I am proud to be part of a great organization that exemplifies the core behaviors.

Cons

Success of the Core Behaviors depends on consistent leadership, clear application, and sustained reinforcement over time. This is a challenge that will take time.
