Cons
HR department, clueless senior leadership. The HR department staff are not knowledgeable about HR. They are led by a former motivational speaker who initiated a fruit of the month club to “help with employee moral”. The payroll expert has routinely “forgot” to make a reported change causing staff to be short changed in paycheck requiring an extra check to be issued. Benefits expert can’t explain the difference between STD and FML. I was told by senior leadership and HR to “back off” discussing a longtime employee who was clearly non- compliant with the employee handbook, examples were provided which warranted firing. These same HR people are going to OMED on the AOAs dollar. For what?
