Pros
The role is about making sure that those with a disability have choice and control and have a voice in the way they are viewed within our communities. My rule allows them to be apart of the decision making and implementation of new strategic plans and helps Regional councils, state and Federal governments respond to new direction so that there is equality and inclusion of all that live within each communities throughout Australia
Cons
Sadly some our that they don’t have the correct equipment that is required from the first day of the job taking months to have the right systems working. Plus they have been slow to pay the correct allowances Whilst having to use your vehicle for work purposes.
