Organization - You can't even imagine how messy the organization could be, one day the management's happy, they could just create a new team, and the other day, it could just disappear. - They can't stop people from leaving because of their messy management, so they just cut the headcount to "cut cost" for IPO (which is not happening any time soon) Culture - APM has all the problems that one family business could ever has. They are so proud of their identity of "South France brand" but the truth is, you could never hear the so call "elegance of France" because the management is so rude that you will hear rude French cursing words everyday. Not just among the family members, even to all the other employees. - If you know some French, very likely that you will get pass the interview, but if you don't know French, they won't mind talking bad things about you in French right in front of you. Products - Honestly, all the marketing is telling stories to customers that they are originated from France, but every employee knows, it's just a Chinese brand running by French family. - The product quality is so poor that the management is well aware of it, and their solution is to ask everyone just to promote the silver collections. (After all, the only problem with silver products is oxidation but for the gold ones, you have the problem of color fading on top) - APM try to position themselves as luxury brand, but the quality and materials of the product can't even compare with local counterfeits. Career path If you survive all the above and want to keep developing your career in APM, then I could only wish you good luck. Promotion and dismissal of employees only depends on the likings of the CEO and his wife (both not decent people). Their preference is clear: loyal, knows French, no need of a brain, just follow their instructions. If you still have any pursuit in your career, this company will kill all your dreams, they just do things spontaneously, even they know nothing about the market, they tend to think that they're the expert. Your opinions mean nothing if they are not what the family wants to hear.
