Pros

Learned a lot collaborating with a talented team and contributing to meaningful UX improvements.

Cons

As a UI/UX Designer, I had the opportunity to work on diverse products and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams. The company truly values user-centered design, and that made the work both meaningful and enjoyable.

Pros

Growth-Focused Work Culture : The team environment is friendly and flexible, more like a collaborative space than a strict corporate setup. There’s no culture of micromanagement. Flexibility in Work Timings :While the official timing is 9 to 6, the team enjoys flexibility for those who extend or shift their hours occasionally — which promotes accountability over enforcement. Opportunities for Freshers & Career Starters : The company is open to hiring passionate candidates regardless of academic backlogs, giving many the chance to begin their careers through internships and hands-on learning. Encouraging Management :Management is constantly putting effort into acquiring new projects, expanding the team, and following agile methodologies. Team Autonomy :Teams are trusted to manage their work independently, which fosters ownership and self-discipline. "

Cons

Polishing the Hierarchical Structure : As the company has crossed the 12–13 year mark, it's no longer in a startup phase. A more defined hierarchy and structured roles could help improve efficiency and clarity. Need for Stronger HR Policies : Introducing or reinforcing HR policies around growth, learning, performance, and communication will further support organizational maturity. Corporate Professionalism : While the casual, college-like atmosphere has its positives, transitioning to a more professional culture would align better with long-term stability goals. Workload Management for Senior Roles : Like in any growing company, senior team members often juggle multiple responsibilities. With better structure and support, this load can be balanced more effectively.

Pros

No good things at all

Cons

I had the worst experience working as an AI developer at Appsteam. The company lacks vision and has no real understanding of AI development. I genuinely feel like I wasted an important part of my career working there. The work culture is extremely poor, and the management is highly unprofessional and unresponsive. The salary compensation is among the worst I’ve seen in the industry(10k inhand). Not only was the initial package very low, but the yearly hike was also minimal — far below industry standards. It almost felt like the company had a policy of not offering raises at all. If you care about your career, especially in the field of AI, I strongly advise you not to consider joining this company. They seem more focused on hiring candidates at the lowest possible salary and locking them into long-term agreements (typically 2 years) with no real benefits or growth opportunities. They don't even have plans to hire senior proffesionals. What’s more troubling is that when someone tries to speak out about the reality, the management pressures employees to write positive reviews online to cover up the company's toxic work culture. In summary, Appsteam is not a place for anyone serious about building a career in AI. Avoid it if you're looking for meaningful work, fair compensation, or professional growth
