Pros

Employees are hard working, dedicated and friendly. There are close to 20 employees who have been here for 20+ years! Management is dedicated to Team work and looking at both the immediate needs as well as the big picture. They listen to employee ideas and concerns. The company is doing it's best during this Pandemic and cleans high traffic areas daily as well as props certain internal doors open so employees don't have to touch them, made & provided 1 reusable cloth face mask for each employee as well as has lots of disposable masks available, they ensure social distancing throughout the plant & if not able, must wear a mask. They also instituted Telework where feasible. They communicate all changes due to COVID immediately. Even though they can't have a company wide get together they try to celebrate in different ways (passed out 4th of July goodie bags to every employee!)

Pros

There are a handful of Managers here who truly care about their employees and want to make things better. Those managers inspire their employees to work hard and make the work day bearable.

Cons

Unfortunately the good managers are overshadowed by the other managers who are struggling. There are managers who have never been managers and are really rough around the edges. Their management style is abrasive and frankly makes people not want to deal with them. There are other managers who lie, who make commitments they cannot meet, and who blame others for their downfalls. If this company is ever going to change its culture for the better, they need to start at the top. Also, because things got so out of hand months and years ago with people not following processes, there are now an abundance of processes that make it extremely difficult to complete even the easiest or tasks. What makes it worse is managers who like to put their foot down about who needs to be involved in meetings, yet those same managers either never show up or show up but don't pay attention. It's very disheartening to those of us that actually want to do our jobs the right way and as expeditiously as possible. It's a battle every step of the way. This needs to change.
