Pros
-Gain the experience to find a new job -Free lunch on the first Friday of the month (Panda Express, Costco pizza or grilling burgers)
Cons
-Low pay (graduated with a Bachelor degree and even an intern was making more (family related)) -No annual pay raise -No room for growth - asked the CEO if that are any other opportunities, her respond "there are none" -A lot of family drama - the business is owned by the husband and wife. Many of their top executives are some how family related (ie niece, nephew, brother in law, friend, etc) -If a family related employee doesn't like what you did to them, you will be sitting in the room of the CEO or president of the company getting lectured. -President of the company would constantly swear at you -Lots of favoritism for family related employees. For instance, no food or using cell phone in the production area. An employee related to a good friend of the CEO was able to drink and use his cell phone while working in production without any issues. -Lots of cameras throughout the office/production area. The president of the company would randomly watch cameras from time to time. This makes the place more like a prison than a workplace. -Employees don't like changes. Everything must be the same as it was 15-20 years ago.
