Pros

Really great concepts, products, and mission. True team-environment feel.

Cons

Pay gap is staggering between the top and bottom and it is well known between the staff. Doesn't consider the cost of living in Seattle for their employees.

Pros

The people are the best part about ATAVUS, I trust who I work with and it makes every day so much better. The location in SODO is very cool (Literally a block away from Safeco Field) and though parking can be tight there is plenty of it. Management has been pushing to become more transparent about the company as a whole which I appreciate.

Cons

There are some growing pains going on with the company and it certainly slows down work at times. The lay out of the office can at times create separation between departments.

Thanks for the comments. It is really important to our culture that we don't create separation between departments, being totally inclusive is who we want to be. Like the idea of inter departmental activities.

Pros

ATAVUS is a dynamic and rapidly growing company. The quality of the company's products and services is exceeded only by the quality of its employees. Though I was brought in to help with a specific aspect of company's business development, I ended up working on a variety of projects in different operational areas. Throughout the company, I found an unyielding commitment to collaboration and an incredible enthusiasm for the work being done. I am truly excited about ATAVUS' future because of the exceptional people working to achieve the company's vision.

Cons

Early stage companies are often susceptible to internal communications problems. ATAVUS senior management is dealing with growing pains in this regard and has invested substantial time and energy into improving internal transparency. I hope that these efforts continue as these programs are often the first to be ignored when plates are full and schedules are packed.
