Pros

Great hands-on healthcare experience, especially for people interested in PT, healthcare operations, sports medicine, or patient care Strong patient interaction skills development Fast-paced environment helps improve communication, multitasking, and professionalism Good exposure to rehabilitation exercises, clinical workflow, and healthcare teamwork Opportunity to build relationships with patients and providers Looks good on resumes for healthcare, medical sales, operations, and graduate programs Can help build confidence working with different personalities and situations Decent stepping stone for healthcare careers Team environment can be supportive depending on the clinic Opportunity to learn medical terminology, scheduling systems, and clinic operations

Cons

Pay can feel low compared to workload and responsibilities Can become repetitive day-to-day Busy clinics may feel understaffed or stressful Career growth can feel limited without pursuing additional certifications or degrees High patient volume can sometimes make it difficult to give every patient as much attention as you’d like Scheduling and workflow can become hectic during peak hours Burnout can happen if work-life balance isn’t maintained

Pros

+Location matters some locations are truly kind to you and focus on the patient first +Some locations focus on true mentorship such as CEU , bringing in the compliance team to help rectify billing +I loved and would have married my immediate supervisor because of how kind and honest she was +PTO and Sick Time and Be Well time different banks so really good +Offer to help student loan repayment which is great because our profession needs it desperately

Cons

- Its the mill of mills - fraudulent billing practices -as others have said its not unheard of to see 3 or more patients at the same time - the turnover is WAY too high - the patients are simply a credit card swipe -the bottom line is who gets shafted the most -the clawback policy is really a piece of work and management will lie to you about it same as HR -dont expect to get promoted unless you are a corporate drone -asking intrusive questions means asking basic policies and guidelines which should be transparent -you are not valued at the bottom line regional director and up yes
