Pros
Great place to work, good salary and excellent state-funded benefits. While I have only worked at two departments, I have friends and colleagues in several others and it seems that the work environment can vary quite a bit. That being said, I don't think any of the departments are bad places to work (from what I've heard), just that some are better than others.
Cons
Some departments are less international friendly than others (e.g., one department I worked at held all staff meetings in Danish--despite the fact that all staff speaks English, and some of the staff did not speak Danish).
