Pros
You are employed. No one monitors when you come and go. So there is flexibility. Great if you like medical malpractice.
Cons
Salary. Subtle encouragement to "capture" hours. Training is hit or miss and largely learning by doing. Large amounts of secretarial work. Large gap between stated and expected billing requirement given low salary. Favoritism. Very gossipy. Awful benefits. Poor exit options and bonuses.
