      Pros

      The managers and colleagues are great, and there's always a laugh between all the hard work.

      Cons

      Often asked to work extra hours (paid), senior members of staff are terrible at responding and helping staff and management. A good fraction of new hires leave after the first day at events, almost always understaffed and disorganised.

      Pros

      Can meet a lot of great people, and lots of opportunity to travel and visit beautiful venues. Can get a lot of work and go far if you have common sense and basic interpersonal skills (which a surprising amount of people don't...)

      Cons

      Little respect for you as an individual worker on shifts, have dealt with some awful managers forcing you to stay on your feet without breaks or food for full days (sometimes 18 hours)...while they sit around and eat. Have to deal with clients who can often be difficult.
